I am a Mental Health Social Worker and Psychoanalytical Psychotherapist having completed the necessary qualifications for accreditation and registration with both the Australian Association of Social Workers and Victorian Association Psychoanalytical Psychotherapists.

I have 25 years’ experience initially working in public health settings and community agencies, and then in my private practice in Queensland. In 2021, I relocated to Melbourne and have set up a small-scale private practice in Williamstown.

I like to offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy to people who want to explore and better understand themselves and resolve distress.

My experience in treatment spans the following areas. Working with adults with trauma and a range of mental health conditions particularly self-esteem, anxiety, depression, bereavement, sexuality issues, parenting matters and relationship difficulties. I have a special interest in working with adolescents and adults who have high functioning autism.

I appreciate it can be overwhelming to come and talk to a Therapist about personal concerns when you are feeling distressed. Yet, it is in finding your voice, being heard, and being companioned throughout your journey - where the potential for healing can begin.

I look forward to meeting you….
